Themed with the concept of “Mountain Bounty, Ocean Treasures & Local Inspiration”, the collaborated menu between Xiamen Airlines and Taian Table Shanghai(3star Michelin Restaurant) deconstructs the traditional recognition of Fujian cuisine. Sparked by the combination of Chinese and Western notions, the menu presents a one-of-a-kind sky dining experience.
Thus, the printed menu design is inspired by the concept of “Local Inspiration”. The structure of the menu is born out of the local flower cement tiles： an “opening window” reveals different layers of the tiles, a rocky texture cover and the interior colors extracted from the dishes in the menu complete the information that wishes to be expressed. Eventually, the passengers could experience a multi-sensories journey.
